Production Engineer



The Company



An established medical equipment manufacturer based on the South Coast that are looking for a Production Engineer



The Role



Duties for this position will include creating and maintaining build instructions, routings, standard times and line layouts as well as resolving general day-to-day production issues. You need to be able to manage the implementation of engineering changes and lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

You would be supporting NPI projects, providing DFM expertise and facilitating a seamless introduction into production.

Producing justifications for new plant and equipment



The Candidate



You should possess a Degree/HND/HNC in an Electro/Mechanical discipline (or equivalent) with experience in a Production Engineering role. An excellent communicator and team player, you will have the ability to manage concurrent activities and deliver solutions in a timely and effective manner.



The Package



The salary offered for this position is £27,000 pa however the client may pay up to £30,000 pa to a candidate that can meet all key qualifications and abilities. Benefits include pension and 23 days holiday.
