A Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor / Experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor is required to join a rapidly expanding Oil Company in Africa. As the successful Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor / Experienced Health, Safety you will be working on a range of projects both onshore and offshore providing standards and procedures whilst implementing an overhaul to the operation from a HSE point of view.



Remuneration for the Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor:

£Excellent (negotiable) per annum plus benefits

Requirements:

Offshore and onshore Oil & Gas experience

Experience of working abroad, preferably Africa

Language skills



The ideal Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor / Experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor will ensure compliance with Main and Sub-Contract conditions in order to protect the business in terms of actions arising during the projects. They will maintain tight controls and provide accurate and timely advice of risks on all issues affecting the both the projects and clients.



Main Duties include:

• Ensure absolute compliance with matters pertaining to the HSE legislation.

• Maintain all keep up to date with changes to all relevant legislation and distribute advice accordingly.

• Familiarise contract documentation to ensure a working knowledge.

• Ensure the business interests are maintained as required with notification of all matters relating to contract.

• Ensure timely and accurate advice and support of subcontractors with supporting documentation.

• Contribute in defining and developing long term strategy.

• Make available accurate up-to-date cost advice to estimating.

• Maintain a working relationship with all staff working directly for you.

• Ensure effective communication is maintained with all departments.
