QUALITY SYSTEMS MANAGER
LOCATION: SOUTH EAST
SALARY AND BENEFITS: 25K 35K
COMPANY INFORMATION:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Systems Manager to join a well established food manufacturer. Supplying high risk chilled snack products to the major retailers, food service wholesalers and food manufacturers, currently with a £multimillion turnover they are one of the leading manufacturers in their industry.
REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of 3 years experience within the food industry.
Must have excellent knowledge of HACCP and BRC and have experience ensuring the appropriate legislations are adhered to.
Good people management skills with a minimum of 1 years experience.
HND / BSC in food related discipline.
Be able to conduct internal and external audits.
Be confident in your approach as you will be liaising with all the major retailers dealing with any complaints that may arise and also assisting with site visits.
Have experience writing internal, customer and raw material specifications. Ideally you will be extremely knowledgeable with online specifications including redsky, Web Traqs, inspire and Retail link.
ROLE INFORMATION:
To manage and continuously improve the company's Quality Management Systems and the management of the document control process.
To liaise with suppliers dealing with complaints and organising site visits.
Conducting internal and external audits.
Managing, updating and organising all HAACP and health and safety manuals.
Manage the complaints system providing all the information to the Technical Manager.
Assist with the preparation of BRC and customer audits.
Approving product labels.
